There could be a few possibilities how you ended up here. You came here from another blog, from social media sites, someone told you about us or the universe somehow wanted you to stumble upon us.
It doesn’t matter. You are welcome here.
The Wall is a place for everyone.
In today’s world, people seem to have forgotten the difference between listening and understanding. You can never really know what a person is going through unless you spend a day in their shoes. We understand that. Here we will not try to change your life. We will not try to motivate you. We will not even try to inspire you.
We will just let you know that you are not alone.
No matter what you’re going through right now, no matter what you’ve gone through, there is someone somewhere who has gone through the same.
You see pain is much easily dealt with when you have someone who will listen and understand.
The world is a library. Every face, every one you see around you has a story to tell, to share. Some do. Some don’t.
But what if you have nothing to share?
You’re still welcome here. Read and learn from others. Understand their lives, their pain. And more importantly, love. So the next time when you see a broken drunk screaming in the middle of the night you’ll know their pain.
Look around you. Judgement is everywhere. It defines what we wear, what we do, what we see, what we hear, how we think, who we call our friends, practically our entire existence. Let this be that one tiny space where no one is judged.
That will make the girl who cuts herself every night, happy.
The alcoholic, who needs to drink to get some sleep at night, happy.
Just don’t judge. Instead understand. Share your life. Read. Revel in their happiness. Know their pain.
We’re 7 billion people and 14 billion stories.
We’re here. We care. And we listen. We do not judge.
And The Wall does not judge. You are not alone.
The Wall will remember you.
Lots of love,
